FunSand Meets and Surpasses All Lead Safety Standards Set Forth by The Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) as of February 10, 2009.As of February 10, 2009 the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) has mandated that consumer products intended for children 12 and under cannot have more than 600 parts per million (ppm) of lead in any accessible part. FunSand Meets and Surpasses All Phthalates Content Safety Standards Set Forth by The Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) as of February 10, 2009.As of February 10, 2009 the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) has mandated that consumer products intended for children 12 and under cannot contain Phthalate levels greater than .1% (one-tenth of 1%) in any accessible part. FunSand not only meets this requirement, it vastly exceeds this requirement making FunSand one of the safest consumer products with regard to Phthalate levels. All FunSand products have tested at less than .02% (two one-hundredths of 1%) making them virtually Phthalate-free.
